Although virtually undetectable to the naked eye, tiny Recoveri Dots etched with a unique AIN and spread inconspicuously across office equipment, computers, furniture and vehicles, become powerful identifiers of a company's assets, enabling them to prove and trace ownership.
Recoveri Dots enable you to mark assets that were previously difficult to tag and trace.
With up to 15 000 coded microtags deployed across both covert and overt areas of an asset, Recoveri Dot provides a level of identification that makes theft and the resale of stolen property unviable to criminals and syndicates.
Recoveri Dots are impossible to remove without damaging the asset, which would make the resale of that stolen asset impossible, even after dismantling it into separate parts.
Because each AIN is linked to a full description of all the assets on the interactive Recoveri Asset Register, companies can effectively and conveniently manage their asset register; trace assets and calculate asset depreciation amongst others.
Recoveri's solution is cost-effective and flexible in its application to meet each company's individual strategy for managing assets. Companies can group assets under separate AINs according to type, region, division or any other parameters.
Tagging high-value assets and vehicles with Recoveri Dots provides indisputable proof of ownership, increasing the chances of recovering stolen assets and reducing the risks associated with self-insurance.
Companies can choose to update their asset register on the Recoveri Asset Register themselves or call the customer contact centre to do it for them.
The internet-based Recoveri Asset Register offers level 4, 128-bit encrypted security, which is the same level of security provided by banking websites. Only authorised users authenticated by means of username and password have access to the database.
Teams within the SAPS have been equipped with devices that enable them to check for microtags on vehicles and other high-value assets seized from criminals. Recoveri Dot's telltale signature and the unique AIN allow them to trace ownership via the Recoveri Asset Register.
The SAPS also has access to a national database of vehicles that are equipped with microdot technology. This means that when stolen vehicles tagged with Recoveri Dots are recovered, ownership can be immediately and effectively traced via the national database.
